"Being here I realised that I am not far from home at all, because I am here. We are so far from home and here we have a family, I don't have perception of being away from home or being in this family, because while being here you can be home anywhere.

And you know why? Because you are always YOU at that moment, it's in yourself!"

Klaus and Siv
Klaus: "A month in Wudang Academy is a great chance to take a pause in your existing life. It is a chance to think about where you are.
What is important?
It is an opportunity to start a new direction of just adjust a bit with help of the tools you pick up."
Siv: "To come to Wudang Mountain and start learning and practicing Meditation and Tai Chi could help to be away from our stressful life. Not just keep on running until we get sick, and anticipate a doctor to get you a pill and just continue as usual.
Talking out of personal experience, getting diagnosed and treated from cancer in 2016, I know the importance of both the traditional health care and alternative medicine.
We need to take responsibility for our own health. To have the ability to respond to our body."
Ivan

"It's great not to have a purpose of your life. It's the best part of the life not having purpose and go, because then you won't fail it. Whatever you do is good. You can say that your purpose is being happy or you can be just happy without purpose, just be.

Life is aimless and purposeless and it is the best part of it."

Lee

" Wudang Wellness - is a place full of mystery, beauty and stillness. A time of growth and connection. Positive people with common goals to just be, not without its frustrations, imperfections and ways.

Juts being humble to learn and learning to be humble."

Michel

" If you gone through a lot of bullshit in your life, if you gone to the lowest point and it is the moment, when most people are still won't admit this level and it is easy to stay on it, like criminal activities and corruption. But once, you make a decision to step up and really make a positive change in your life, then it will happen.

Because I did it myself too...

And what you think is actually possible, no matter what you will do and no matter what you think of it."

Petter

"Life is a journey full with lessons, and so has my time here also been a journey full with lessons. The mountains, the passing clouds; Master Gu, the passing people...

They have been great teachers in their ways.

A great chapter of my life and the journey goes on."

Maggie

" Self reflection, as well as, immersion in local Wudang culture, whilst above all improving and ultimately mastering Tai Chi Quan is my sole goal during my stay here."

Master Gu -
Master of Tao
"The route of Chinese culture is very much in taoism."

" Once, I was in the bus and someone from the bus asked me out of curiosity. A young man returned his head to me and asked me a question. A question is:

" Are you really a taoist?(你真的是一個道教嗎?)"
He probably asked me, because seing me wearing my training taoist suit. Normally this kind of question is a bit not correct. But still I gave him an answer, thinking that this can be a good opportunity to educate in taoism.
So, I asked him: "If you asked me such question, you must know what is taoism."
And he said: "No." Then, I didn't give him a criticism for asking such question.
And my answer is: " Somehow I am, somehow I am not."
I gave him a no and a yes answer, I am quite honest. If I say, " I am a taoist," you don't know.
So, I said to him on the one hand, I am not and on the other, I am. Because most of the case, the taoist are those people, who are staying in the temple, monastery, more religious people. In this sense, I am not like them, because I am not a monk.
However, I am a taoist, because when we talk about taoism, there is actually a philosophy and religion. Taoism, as a philosophy, started earlier as religion. Taoist philosophy started 2500 years ago, when Lao Tzu met by Yi Jing, who gave him a philosophical book, which was the "kingdom" of the wisdom. So, I am a taoist, PHILOSOPHICAL TAOIST

As taoists(religious and philosophical), we have three levels. The lower level is type of taoists, who burn incenses. The middle level is type of taoist, who cultivate tao. The top level, they spread tao. I have been spreading taoism culture, not online in China, but abroad, as well. So, do you think, I am a taoist?

After he heard this, he said that I am a highly taoist. And then I started to speak with him more. Finally, I had to get off the bus, and he and other people gave me a round of applauses...

Another story in the bus.

One day, I was going back from the Purple Heaven Palace(this monastery situated in the Wudangshan Mountains) with couple of students and I was wearing my taoist clothing.

So, again there is a person, simply cannot resist asking me questions. So the person asked me if I left home. Here it means, to make a decision of not to be a social person, cut relationships with family members and be out and stay in the temple or in the mountain.

It is very sensitive question.

I cannot totally say yes, because I have a family and I cannot say no. And my answer was that yes, I have gone out of my home, but I have reached the home. And then I got off the bus...

What is the definition of home?

Parents, children, wife and husband, children. All of us should have a responsibility to those relationships between us. Most of the taoists are thinking that you should ban people of whom you bond with and to whom you beloved and come to the mountains.

I think it is wrong, I dont think this is what taoist should do.

As, a taoist, I form a family and it cannot resist my love to taoism and culture. So, I believe that taoists can do both. I still have home, I love home and of course I love taoism. And I share taoism with people."
